The open knowledge movement is in full swing with institutions, academics and governments questioning the proprietary academic publishing model that profits from publicly funded research, when costs of distribution are now close to zero. Under pressure from all sides including mass boycotts, academic publishing giants are increasingly providing free and open access to parts of their Open access journals, tools for finding, collating, tagging and organising research are in this category.
