Notes

Solar and wind electricity generation in Europe increased significantly, while fossil fuel usage declined. From 2000 to 2022, solar and wind generation went from a negligible level to over 800TWh, while fossil fuel generation dropped by almost 200TWh. Nuclear and bioenergy remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations.
